Getting started with AgentRank

Four steps take a new store from unmeasured to publishing structured product data that AI assistants can read.

Step 1 — Sync your products

Open AgentRank from your Shopify admin. The first sync reads every active, published product and scores it. Each product gets a score out of 100 and a list of the fields an assistant could not find, such as material, colour, care instructions or intended audience.

Step 2 — Turn on AI visibility

One action handles the store-level checks: allowing AI crawlers in robots.txt, publishing your store summary files, sharing delivery information, and exposing the supplemental product feed. The dashboard lists each check and marks the ones still outstanding, such as a missing returns policy.

Step 3 — Approve the fixes

Suggestions arrive grouped by what is missing rather than one product at a time, so a single group might cover eight products at once. Review the proposed value for each product, untick anything you disagree with, edit any value inline, then apply the group. Nothing is written to your store until you apply, and every group can be undone.

Step 4 — Enable the theme embed

Approved attributes only reach AI assistants once the AgentRank JSON-LD app embed is enabled. Open your theme editor, switch the embed on, save the theme, then return to AgentRank so it can confirm the setting.

After setup

Re-run a sync whenever you add products, or re-analyse a single product from its row. The AI Traffic page reports the visits and orders that assistants send you, so you can see the effect of the changes you approved.
